Husband ignoring his wife due to not looking attractive after giving birth
Question
Is your husband allowed to ignore you because you don’t look attractive to him 4 months after giving birth? Knowing very well that you’re making effort to exercise, etc?
Answer
It is wrong for the husband to have this type of an attitude. These types of changes are bound to happen, and he should understand that it is his child that she has mothered. Showing her love, respect, mercy and kindness all contribute towards the child being good, understanding and kind.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
