Going to one's mother's house after giving birth
Question
After giving birth, should the woman remain at her husband's home or go to her mother's?
Answer
Generally, after child birth a girl goes to her mother's house as she is weak or ill and in need of assistance. However, if she can manage on her own while staying at her home, then there is no problem in this.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
