Women leaving the house during nifaas (after child birth)
Question
Is it true that during the period of nifaas (after child birth), women should not go out of the house? Should they not go to their parents house also?
Answer
In the state of nifaas, a woman is not prohibited in shariah from leaving the home. Hence, it is permissible for her to visit her parents in the state of nifaas.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
