Putting on the ihraam before passing the miqaat
Question
I am going for umrah next week insha-Allah. I am a female. I am going to Makkah first. Do I have to don the ihraam on the plane when they make the announcement that we are passing the miqaat or is it okay to reach Makkah and then go back to the miqaat and don the ihraam?
Answer
Put on the ihraam when passing the meeqaat.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
