Does a woman need her husbands permission to spend her own money on her parents?
Question
What is the ruling on the income of a married woman? Is she allowed to spend on her parents or follow what her husband says?
Answer
If she is earning the wealth in a halaal manner without encroaching upon the rights of her husband, then it is permissible and the wealth will belong to her entirely. She can spend it wherever she wants. If she wishes to spend it on her parents, she may do so and she does not need the permission of her husband.
