Zakaat on a gold tooth
Question
If a person has a gold tooth, will it be necessary for him to include it in his zakaat calculation and pay zakaat on it?
Answer
Hazrat Thaanwi (rahimahullah) has mentioned that if the tooth is such that it cannot be removed, then zakaat is not compulsory upon it.
However, if it can be removed, then zakaat will be compulsory upon it.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
