Passing the Meeqaat multiple times without Ihraam
Question
What is the Shar’ee ruling regarding the person who lives out of the meeqaat, and passes the meeqaat multiple times without ihraam to come to Makkah Mukarramah? How will he compensate for passing the meeqaat without ihraam?
Answer
For each time he passes the meeqaat without ihraam, one damm will become waajib upon him. However, if he passes the meeqaat without ihraam, and thereafter returns to the meeqaat and ties the ihraam for hajj or umrah, and thereafter crosses the meeqaat then the damm of the last time he entered Makkah Mukarramah without ihraam will fall off.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
