Sunnah time to leave Arafah for Muzdalifah
Question
What is the sunnah time for one to leave Arafah for Muzdalifah?
Answer
It is sunnah for one to depart from Arafah after sunset. It is not permissible for one to leave Arafah before sunset.
If anyone leaves Arafah before sunset, then one damm (slaughtering a sheep or goat in the precincts of the Haram) will become waajib upon him. However, if he returns to Arafah and thereafter leaves after sunset, the damm will fall off.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
