Drawing and painting
Question
I am working as an Artist. Is drawing and painting landscapes allowed? Secondly is drawing of Animals & Birds permissible? Thirdly is decoration home/Office with sculptures permissible?
Answer
Drawing and sketching of all inanimate objects (e.g. trees, landscapes, etc) are permissible in Islam.
Drawing and sketching of all animate objects are forbidden and haraam in Islam.
The same law that applies to drawings applies to sculptures.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
