TalaaqReconciling after the iddat

Question

If a husband pronounces two talaaqs to his wife and then he did not make ruju in one year with the wife than what will be the implementation of talaaq? Can he take his wife back after one year and make ruju? Or do they have to do halala. What can he do?

Answer

If the husband only issued two talaaqs and the husband and wife wish to reconcile after the iddah, then it is permissible provided a new nikaah is performed with a new mahr.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
