Performing one's sunnats before joining the jamaat for fajr
Question
If one arrives in the musjid during the first rakat of fajr salah, and one still needs to perform his Sunnats, should he rush to complete his 2 Sunnats so as to try not to miss a rakaat or should he take his time and miss the rakaat?
Answer
He could perform it as short as possible keeping in mind the sunnats of namaaz.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
