Parents asking one to do some work Salaah time
Question
My parents sometimes ask me to do some work for them and it happens to be at the same time as jamaat salaat at the Masjid. If I do their work, I will miss salaat with jamaat and if I go to the Masjid, I can't do their work because it had to be done at that time. Should I do their work and miss jamaat or give preference to jamaat?
Answer
If it is not urgent and not an emergency then perform the namaaz and thereafter do their work.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
