Women Performing Salaah In Jamaat
Question
Is it permissible for a woman to make Imaamat or to join a congregation lead by a woman?
Answer
It is Makrooh-e-Tahreemi for a lady to perform her Salaah in a ladies only Jamaat or even lead the Salaah. She should perform her Salaah individually.

( وَ ) يُكْرَهُ تَكْرِيمًا ( جَمَاعَةُ النِّسَاءِ ( وَلَوْ التَّرَاوِيحَ فِي غَيْرِ صَلَاةِ جِنَازَةٍ ( لِأَنَّهَا لَمْ تُشْرَعْ مُكَرَّرَةً ) —وَيُكْرَهُ جَمَاعَتُهُمْ تَحْرِيمًا فَتْحٌ .
