Question

If a person fears that he will commit fornication if he does not get married, is it obligatory to get married? What if he once committed fornication but he necessarily does not fear it. It just happened once. Is marriage obligatory for him? What if he does not want to get married and if forced to marry he might not give his spouse her rights?

Answer

If he had slipped once and committed fornication, it is greatly feared that he will slip again, thus it is extremely important for such a person to get married if he has the means to make nikaah.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
