Keeping a snake as a pet
Question
Is it permissible to play with a snake or keep a snake as a pet?
Answer
Some animals have been spoken about as despicable. Thus, it will not be appropriate to keep such despised animals as pets.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
