Is dropshipping permissible?

“Kindly explain to us how you do the Dropshipping. You may revert to us at admin@daruliftaa.net ref: Asadullah Moolla We will advise further.”

““Drop shipping” is a form of retail business in which the seller accepts customer orders without possessing stock on hand. Instead, the seller transfers the orders and their shipment details either to the manufacturer, a wholesaler, another retailer, or a fulfilment house, which then ships the goods directly to the customer.”

“In bay`us salam, the seller takes possession of the item and then passes it over to the buyer. This is not the case over here. You may do it on a commission basis, where the commission is fixed and known.”

“1. Our current understanding of “drop shipping” is that it is a business model in which a seller does not physically own or possess the item but sells it through an online platform.”
