Should women pray in the masjid?

“The Fuqaha (Jurists) state that Jumu’ah is not Waajib on women. They should rather perform Zuhr. However, if a woman comes to the Haram and performs Jumu’ah Salaah with Jamaat, then it will absolve her from performing Zuhr, on condition the Imaam made intention for making Imaamat of the women as well.”

“The gathering of women for Taraweeh Salaah, and having a Jamaat of ladies only (even though the Imaam is a woman) is Makrooh-e-Tahrimi.”

“A woman in the state of menstruation is prohibited from entering the designated prayer area of a Masjid.The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: Translation:"I do not permit a woman in her menses or a person in a state of major ritual impurity to enter the masjid" (Sunan Abi Dawood, Book of Purification, Hadith 232)”

“If the rooms are not within the boundaries of the masjid, then a menstruating woman may attend the event there. However, if those rooms form part of the masjid itself, then it will not be permissible.”
