Istikhaarah while in Haydh

Question

If one is on Haydh and needs to perform Istikhaarah. Is there something they can read?

Answer

They may read the Dua for Istikhaarah without performing the salaah. Alternatively, they may read the following Dua:

When any decision needed to be taken urgently, Rasulullaah ﷺ recited the following Du’aa:

Allahumma Khir-li wakhtar li

O Allaah! Choose for me and inspire me with the right choice. [Tirmidhi 3516]
